Privacy notice

Driftwise Travel operates the Phuket travel brief and Phuket Scenic Studio on this site. We do not place advertising cookies.

Website hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs to operate and secure the service. Refer to Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Privacy-first website measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, referral sources, and website performance. Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free and states that it does not collect or use visitors’ personal data or track individual users across customer websites. Query-string values are not included in its analytics logs. Refer to Cloudflare Web Analytics for details.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive technical request information when those files are loaded. Refer to Google’s privacy policy for details.

Interactive map

The homepage loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap so visitors can inspect Phuket’s coastline, roads, and districts. OpenStreetMap may receive technical request information such as your IP address and website referrer when map tiles load. Map data is credited to OpenStreetMap contributors and is used under the Open Database License. Refer to OpenStreetMap copyright and licensing and the OSM Foundation privacy policy.

Checkout and payments

Checkout is hosted by Stripe. For Managed Payments transactions, Link acts as merchant of record and handles payment, indirect tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and transaction-support data under the Stripe privacy policy and Link privacy policy. Driftwise Travel does not receive or store full card details.

Order support

We may receive information needed to fulfil and support an order, such as your name, email address, purchase status, and support messages. We use it only for delivery, support, refunds, fraud prevention, record-keeping, and legal compliance.

Reader accounts

After purchasing a view-only travel brief, you may create an account using the email supplied at checkout. We store the normalized email, a one-way password hash, the purchased-edition entitlement, and a secure sign-in session. We do not store the readable password. The session uses a strictly necessary, secure, HTTP-only cookie so you can remain signed in; it is not used for advertising.

Retention and sharing

We keep order and support records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers or authorities when necessary to operate the service or comply with law.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
